Prof. Dr. Salaheddin Bendak 1988 yılında Orta Doğu Teknik Üniversitesi - Endüstri Mühendisliği bölmünde lisans ve 1990 yılında aynı bölümde yüksek lisans bitirmiştir. 2000 yılında Avustralya’da La Trobe Üniversitesinde ergonomi dalında doktorasını bitirmiştir. Ayrıca 2004 yılında Avustralya’da Monsah Üniversitesinde eğitim alanında (yüksek lisansa denk) yüksek diploma ve aynı yılda İsveç’te Karolisnka Enstitüsünde “Köresel Yara ve İş Kazaları” dalında yüksek sertifika almıştır. Salaheddin Bendak RMIT (Avustralya), Kral Suud (Suudi Arabistan) ve Şarjah (BAE) üniversitelerinde toplam 22 yıllık oğretim üyesi olarak tecrübesi var. Ayrıca, İzmir-Türkiye ve Jubail-Suudi Arabistan’da toplam üç yıl özel sektörde mühendis olarak ve değişik ülkelerde uzman ve danışman olarak calışmıştır. Haliç Üniversitesi Mühendisklik Fakültesi’nde 2020 yılında “profesör” olarak çalışmaya başlamıştır.
